Roster Move
Victor Castillo was activated off the Disabled List today. Castillo was placed on the DL on June 13th after injuring his hamstring in the series against Kannapolis in early June. In 13 games this season, Castillo is hitting .188 (6-32) with a home run and two RBIs.
Unfortunately, in order to make room for Castillo, the Baltimore Orioles decided to release Dustin Black. In 18 games this season, he was hitting .159 (7-44) with two home runs and four RBIs.
We all certainly hope that Dustin Black is able to catch on with another organization. I can tell you that he was well liked amongst his teammates.
