L.J. Hit Streak/Random Notes

Shorebirds second baseman L.J. Hoes is riding a seven game hit streak into game two against the Captains.  He is 13 for his last 26 at the plate (.500).  His batting average has skyrocketed from .243 to .260 during the stretch.

Remember, L.J. Hoes owns the Shorebirds long hitting streak this season at 12.

Other things to hone in on tonight…

McCurry has not allowed a run in 16.1 straight innings.

Miclat is leading off for just the 13th time this season.  First time that he has led off since July 3rd.

First game without Joe Mahoney in the middle – Jacob Julius bats fifth.
