Good Start for Joe

Joe Mahoney went 2-4 with a double last night in his debut with the Frederick Keys.  He is going to be joined today by Kyle Hudson, Greg Miclat and Shane Mathews, who all got the call up following the game last night here in Delmarva.

Brandon Cooney is a perfect 6 for 6 in save opportunities for the Frederick Keys.  In 11.0 total innings since his promotion, he has allowed just one earned run (0.82 ERA).  The Carolina League is hitting only .158 against him.

Rick Zagone picked up his first win with the Keys about four days ago now against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.  Season high seven innings.  He also struck out 10 batters.

More on the players coming to Delmarva a bit later.  There are four new players coming. 

By the way, with all these roster moves, there are only 12 players from the opening day roster that are still with the club.
