Morning Tilt

Bright and early today.  Bus departs for the park at 9:00 AM.  It’s a kids day at NewBridge Bank Park.  All the 6th graders in Guilford County are going to be in attendance.

We got back to the hotel around 11:00 PM last night.  A lot of the guys went to get some food before calling it a night. 

Morning games are usually a chance for managers to give everyday players a day off.  Jason Stifler is expected to get his first start of the season for Justin Dalles.  Stifler had a pinch hit two-run single in the ninth inning last night. 

Michael Ohlman was placed on the DL yesterday, retroactive to 4/12. 

Check out Steve Melewski’s blog on Masnsports.com.  They are doing a lot more minor league coverage this year.  He wrote a little blog about the Shorebirds hot start yesterday as well.  He called me last night and is going to do an interview with Ryan Minor tomorrow.
