Mahoney Crushing Double-A
I was roaming around statistics from the other minor league teams today and when I came to the Double-A club I was pleased to see that Joe Mahoney is just tearing apart the Eastern League.
In 15 games, he is hitting .439 (25-57) with six home runs and 15 RBIs.
Mahoney already has two multi-home run games.
His last four games have been awesome. He is 11-for-16 with four runs, a double, three home runs and seven RBIs.
The 23-year old is really turning into a prospect. Hopefully he gets the chance to go the Arizona Fall League after the season.
Always nice to see a former Shorebirds player advancing and doing well. Don’t forget that Mahoney spent 2008 and 2009 right here on the Eastern Shore.
