Bundy Awesome Again
Bobby Bundy followed up his nine-inning complete game on August 16th against Lakewood with a seven-inning shutout of Hickory on Sunday. He allowed only three hits and really dominated the Crawdads.
The ‘Dads managed to move only two base runners to second base in the seven innings against Bundy. Nobody advanced to third against him.
One of the biggest differences for Bundy of late is his command. Think about these numbers. In July, he walked 14 batters in 25.2 innings and went 0-1 with a 4.21 ERA. In August, he has walked only six batters in 27 innings and he is 2-1 with a 3.33 ERA.
The right-hander went nine starts without a win between June 20 and August 5. He has since won back-to-back starts. Good to see.
