Moreland and Startup Promoted
Kenny Moreland and Will Startup were promoted on Sunday afternoon to the Frederick Keys.
Moreland actually started for the Keys on Sunday against the Potomac Nationals. In five innings, he allowed eight hits and just two earned runs. Startup picked up the win by throwing the final 2.2 innings and keeping the P-Nats scoreless.
The Shorebirds roster is now down to 23. As of Monday morning, there are no corresponding moves.
Moreland was moved up to the Keys to take the rotation spot of Nathan Moreau, who returned to school at the University of Georgia.
