Volunteering at the Food Bank
Shorebirds staffers were at the local Food Bank this past week volunteering as part of the “Strike Out Hunger” effort associated with the 2011 SAL All-Star Game. It’s things like this that really make us all feel great about working for the Shorebirds. By the way, we are now 24 days away from opening night. Without even knowing that, it was very clear that the season is around the corner when I arrived at the stadium on Sunday. Aaron Becker was hanging banners and Audrey Vane was replacing the wallpaper in the women’s bathroom. ON A SUNDAY! We’ll see you all soon.
