14-Game Hit Streak

Jonathan Schoop takes a 14-game hitting streak into the finale against the Greensboro Grasshoppers.  The hit streak started on May 1 and has continued through May 15.  He is 21-for-58 (.362) with two homers and seven RBIs during the stretch.

The last 14-game hit streak was Brandon Tripp’s in 2007 between April 14 and May 1.

The amazing part about Schoop is that he has another 11-game hit streak this season (4/13-4/23). Two double figure hit streaks in his first 35 games of the season!

Schoop has been terrific. Another amazing performance is Schutz hitting safely in 29 of his 33 games, you talk about consistent, WOW! What are his chances of being promoted, and if so when?

I was doing some additional browsing on the stats and noticed Kelly has hit safely in 20 of his 24 games, and has a 13 game streak as I type. I love our offense!
