15 & 13-Game Streaks
Jonathan Schoop is now on a 15-game streak and Ty Kelly is on a 13-game hitting streak. Kelly has multiple hits in seven of the 13 games during the stretch. Kelly also has a 16-game on-base streak.
By the way, the Schoop hit streak might be the longest in franchise history. I looked through all the year-by-year notebooks and I did not find any 15-game hit streaks.
The other interesting statistic I have this morning is that Kipp Schutz has an RBI in 12 of his last 15 games.
The Shorebirds have now played 11 straight games without Machado. They are 6-5 without him this season.
